[How to use a hard alloy drill bit correctly?]
Release date:[2023/3/31] Is reading[296]次

Generally, the application of  cemented carbide drills in numerical control is very broad, but the material is high, and thecemented carbide drill is used correctly. It is used to do it. It is the responsibility of every mechanical processing practitioner. Reasonable use of cemented carbide drills can improve product quality and save costs. Correct use of  cemented carbide drills, mainly including the following aspects:

1. Select the correct CNC drill bit to be applied to the machine, the machining center is equivalent, the rigid machine, and should ensure the tip jump Tir <0.02. Machine Tools such as rocker drill, universal milling, due to small power, poor spindle accuracy, easy to cause early collapse of drills, should be avoided as much as possible.

2, select the correct knife spring collet, side pressure cutter, hydraulic knife, heat rising knife, etc. .

3, correct cooling

(1) The outer cooling should pay attention to the combination of cooling, forming the upper and lower ladder configuration, and minimizing the angle between the tool as much as possible.

(2) The internal cooling drill should pay attention to the pressure and flow, and should prevent the coolant leakage affect the cooling effect.

4, the correct drilling process

(1) When entering the corner of the drill surface> 8-10 °, it is not drilled. <8-10 °, feed should be reduced to normal 1/2-1 / 3;

(2) When the drill surface is inclined> 5 °, the feed should be reduced to normal 1/2-1 / 3;

(3) When a diamond hole (orthogonal hole or oblique hole), the feed should be reduced to normal 1/2-1 / 3;

(4) 2 blade drill should not be expanded.
